This committee is mandatory under guidelines from bodies like UGC, AICTE, and NAAC, and must exist in all higher educational institutions. Objectives of the Grievance Redressal Committee: 1. To provide a platform for stakeholders (students, faculty, staff) to raise grievances related to academic, administrative, or personal matters. 2. To investigate complaints impartially and confidentially. 3. To resolve grievances in a time-bound manner. 4. To promote a positive and supportive institutional climate. Common Grievances Handled: • Harassment (including bullying or ragging) • Unfair academic evaluation or discrimination • Delay in scholarship disbursement • Issues related to examination or attendance • Infrastructure problems • Administrative inefficiencies
