Mr.P.BABU RAO  is a Associate Professor and Head of the Electrical & Electronics Engineering Department. He is pursuing PhD in Power Electronics and Drives  from Sri Satyasai University of Technology and Medical Sciences.-M.P.He received M.Tech in Power Electronics from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-hyderabad in 2010, B.Tech degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Dr.PalRaj College of Engineering, Bhadrachalam in  2001.He has a teaching experience of 20+ years. His research includes FACTS controllers, power electronics applications to power systems, optimization techniques and power system operation & control. He has published 16 National/International Journals & Conferences.
